MEET THE ELKINS TEAM

 

Hunter Elkins, President

Hunter founded Elkins Advertising in 1990. With a background in retail and advertising / marketing, he felt the latter was not serving the former on a local level, and thus his entrepreneurial expedition began. Hunter is a graduate of San Jose State University and has been a commencement keynote speaker and frequent guest lecturer in the Advertising Department. He is a member and past president of the global Entrepreneurs Organization.

Beth Brigino, Media Director

Beth’s early career saw her combine two of her passions: Sports and Marketing. As the Director of Marketing at Silicon Valley Sports and Entertainment, she developed and implemented advertising, promotional and public relations campaigns across multiple media for the San Jose Sharks, other Bay Area sports organizations and arena events. Always looking for new challenges, Beth joined Elkins Advertising to bring her knowledge and skills agency-side. She holds a B.S. in Marketing from Arizona State University.

Ken Hanamoto, Creative Director

Ken likes words. Big words, small words, words about animals and food. He decided to make a career out of stringing words together. He has a B.A. degree from San Jose State University.

Shawn Tomich, Digital Media Director

As a Senior Advertising Executive with the Bay Area News Group, Shawn used her expertise in Digital Marketing Strategy, Communications, Creative, Content, Branding and Lead Generation to great success for her clients. She has since joined Elkins Advertising, bringing her passion for data, analytics and building top notch marketing campaigns in an ever-changing, digital environment. Shawn is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton.

Joshua Quiwa, Art Director

Josh sees the world differently from the rest of us, with a discerning eye for color and shapes. His professional career started as an in-house designer for the investment firm, Bartlett Associates. Josh soon moved on to the Manteca Bulletin, serving as a lead designer and senior designer for the Manteca Chamber of Commerce magazine. Josh earned his B.A. Degree in Advertising at San Jose State University.

Jeannine Weiss, Human Resources Director

Jeannine joined Elkins Advertising in 2002 as the agency Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable person. Since then, her duties have grown. There are so many, they no longer fit on her business card.

Stephen Mckay, Producer

Steve began working in local video production in Colorado while in college.  He followed his pixel obsessions working in Hollywood and London in production and post-production. Steve returned to school, graduating from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a B.A. in Performing Arts. Steve worked as a producer at KCBA/KION TV before joining Comcast Spotlight in Monterey, managing the production department for over a decade. Steve branched out on his own, opening Smack Art Video. He now serves as the in-house Producer at Elkins Advertising.

Jolene Aramaki, Account Manager

Jolene comes from a background that includes the development of marketing programs, online and channel marketing, product management, event promotions, project management and B2B client relations. Jolene has an MBA from the California State University, Fullerton, and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine.

Jen Pastorini, Account Manager

Starting in promotional advertising over 17 years ago, Jen moved on to marketing for print, radio and video advertising for small to large businesses across the country. She was recruited to AOL’s (yep, that’s still around) startup Patch, where she was the Regional Director for Southern California leading the teams who build the directories and working with businesses to attract customers through digital. Most recently, she led marketing for an automotive group in Northern California growing business through digital strategies that are customer centric.

Olivia Cartelli-Estep, Traffic Director / Media and Digital Assistant

Although Olivia is a recent graduate of San Jose State University, she has already built a solid resume including experience in Public Relations and Journalism at Business Wire, Media Company, as well as other small advertising agencies.
